Little Quaint Places

Okay, one of them is not a little quaint place.. but gorgeous view, reasonably priced food of good quality. Wouldn't mind heading there for lunch again ~

Presenting to you 1Altitude at Raffles Place.

Foie Gras Starter..

Mushroom Risotto with Spanish Ham

My Friend had the wagyu beef cheek with truffle potatoes

Banana Cake with Yogurt

Passion Fruit Cake for my friend

At about 30 odd for a 3 course set lunch, prices are decent, service is excellent. I definitely give this a try ~ Though, note to self, don't order the tasteless risotto next time.

Next up, is a place that i am getting quite excited about. The only downside is that it is very much in the far eastern corners of Singapore, travelling there would be a pain.

Presenting to you, Lots Gourmet Cafe, inconveniently located opposite Changi Prison.

Friend had the Japanese Curry Rice

I had the Footlong Chicken Hotdog

We shared this delicious bowl of fried chicken skin ! This was definitely a hit.

Lamb wrap ... which the instant feedback was... "why is there so much veggies?"

Good place to go, hang out, bring a date ~ :)

Chinese New Year at home

My HK aunt flew in with 2 bags of food and off we went ..for a 4 day eating spree ..

There was plentiful of good food. But i have to admit that one of the highlights of the Chinese New Year was this Foie Gras that my cousin personally brought back from Paris. Pan Fried and delicious .. with raspberry sauce... Heaven !

It was the first CNY without Granny around, i do miss her quite a bit. But i hope that she's watching somewhere up in heaven to see that we are still all together and holding on strong.
