Otherwise known as Scampi or the Norway Lobster. After reading about them on the Lonely Planet, and arriving at Beshoff's at Howth where many have called as one of Dublin's best fishmongers. The combination was lethal.
Sweet, tender flesh. The most delicious roe at the head. It didn't need the mayo or thousand island sauce that it came with. Resting on a body of rocket leaf, served with sourdough bread and some excellent olive oil. Yum... *makes Nigella Lawson like moaning noises*
My first Dublin Bay Prawns ! *now i wonder how they would taste like in Hokkien Prawn noodles!*
