The Singapore Night Festival is an annual event that takes around all the museums in Singapore. In order to bring art to the people, entries to all museums are free & opened till late, street performances, food carts & staged performances bring a festive spirit to the air.
Live street performances
I loved this installation at the Peranakan Museum. Basically, you select a vessel available on the table. Channel all your negative thoughts into the vessel & toss it from the top floor.

Negative thoughts.
That satisfying SMASH ~
This was a outdoor interactive exhibition where one could stand in the middle & interact with the screen.
Acrobats performing outside the Singapore museum. Hanging perilously for their dear life.
Did i mention that there a Absolut exhibition as well at the Singapore museum? They even had their own outdoor bar with uniquely Absolut Vodka concoctions.
Beers were going for 5 dollars, food carts were parked strategically at all major museums for the hungry. There were outdoor installations, indoor performances, shops in the area got in the act & participated in the late night openhouse. Crowds were massive - but it helped that the Night festival was stretched out over 2 weekends.
All in all good fun. :)
