Hitting the Bank

Now that I'm in my last week in Dublin, all inhibitions of saving money is gone. One of the bars that I have always walked past and wanted to head in was the Bank Bar & Restaurant along College Green. Named as the Bar of the Year in 2007, this former Belfast Bank converted into a bar retains its former gorgeous victorian interiors. The only inkling that it was a former bank is the ticker tape LCD screen at the back of the bar, displaying the latest stock prices. (depressing, considering the current financial crisis)
