Meiji Shrine, Harajuku & Shibuya

After pigging out on the first day and mindless wandering, we decided to do something cultural ... so we headed off to the Meiji Shrine first thing in the morning.

I found Japan, vivid, vibrant, full of color. Just gorgeous, brilliant colors

Headed into a small museum within the park where the Meiji Shrine was located ...with hindsight, it was a waste of money, but at that moment, it was our first taste of Old Japan.

Fortunately, there was a few stalls on the ground floor. Charcoal grilled, fresh BBQ Fish coated in sea salt ! :)

Okay, back to the Meiji Shrine..

It was a Sunday and near the New Year, therefore, it was pretty crowded, filled with people filling in their New Year wishes..

And Harajuku ... for a taste of youth & street fashion ..

Went to a whacky departmental store... filled with weird, and strange beauty aids to prevent aging -l-;;;

School uniform for woman ...

School uniform for MAN ...

Ended the night at Shibuya ... with a fantastic Wagyu Beef Buffet :)
